The Bellevue Presbyterian Church Early Education Program in Bellevue, Tennessee is a Christian ministry for children ages 12 months through 5 years. With a top 3-star rating, our play school and pre-school has been serving the Bellevue community for more than 30 years. We provide a safe, warm, caring environment. Our goal is to prepare each child to take the natural step from home to school. Child-centered play is at the heart of our developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our teachers and assistants serve as guides to learning by providing a variety of experiences that foster intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual growth.
Children also experience Christian love, acceptance and forgiveness as modeled by their teachers—some of which have been with us for more than 20 years. God’s love is abundant and we celebrate being children of God each and every day. For more information call (615) 646-1667 or visit our website.Visit BPC Early Ed Website
At BPC, we use the fun and engaging Orange program for our children’s Sunday School. Each month, we focus on a theme; a single word that propels the lesson each week. Compassion, Cooperation, and Self Control are just some of the topics we have focused on. A Feature Presentation each week engages the children, while detailed lesson plans weave in relevant Bible stories. Each Monday, our office sends out Parent Cues to our parents on the email list. These are short emails with ideas on how to incorporate the lesson into your home life so you can bring church home with you.
The Seekers Class, currently consisting of 7 members, meets on Sunday morning from 9 am to 10 am in Fellowship Hall. A variety of resources are used to study religions around the world, the parables, and books of the Bible, for example. Specific liturgical study events are observed, i.e., Advent and Lent. The class welcomes new members at any time. Contact Madelyn Johnson, firstname.lastname@example.org or (615)-473-2976.
The Discovery Class meets on Sunday morning from 9 am to 10 am in the Resource Center. This class tackles difficult issues throughout the life of the church in order to understand and react in our current environment. Even though this might sound dull or boring, lively discussion among the 10 members of the class is always a hallmark. The current study is “The History of Christianity in the Reformation Era”, a DVD led topic by Professor Brad S. Gregory. Join us at any time. Contact Marilyn Hare, email@example.com (615) 678-7119.
